Achieving internet marketing success may seem like a complicated and difficult task for some, but it is not as difficult and complicated as it may seem. So why do so many online marketers fail and struggle to build their online business? In that post I mentioned about having the proper skillset, tools and resources to build your business. Any professional in any profession needs the proper skills, tools and resources in order to get the Job done.

Take for instance a carpenter, some of his basic tools are having hammers, screwdrivers, nails, bolts, screws etc. The Home Depot is his resource, this is where he gets all his constructional materials (lumber), tools and anything he requires to accomplish his given task, and we all should know what a carpenters skillset should be. The ability to work with wood to construct buildings, furniture among other things.

So imagine someone calling themselves a carpenter, they took a job to build a house, they have no tools, no material, no resources to get them and they are not very skilled because they haven’t had much learning experience doing carpentry. How will they get the Job done? I am sure they will have no success being a carpenter, they will get fired because they can’t get the job done and no one is going to want their service.

For them to have success they have to go find a resource where they can get all the necessary tools and material they need and also find someone who they can learn from to develop their carpentry skills. Only then will they become a successful carpenter and the time it takes depends on how well they learn and apply what their teacher is teaching them.

Now take for instance a network marketer trying to have internet marketing success, they just took on the huge task of building a business on the internet. They joined ABC Company, but they have no tools, no resources and little or no training (skillset) on how to build a network marketing business online. Just like the carpenter, the network marketer needs to have certain skills, tools, and resources to achieve internet marketing success.

They must have the marketing skills to generate traffic, the tools to generate leads for their internet business (a marketing system), resources to get the necessary tools to accomplished certain task and a mentor (Coach) to learn from and develop their skills. Internet marketing success does not have to be difficult and complicated, you just have to have all the proper tools, get educated on how to do it and do it right in order to achieve internet marketing success.

One of the main reasons so many people struggle in Network Marketing is that they are forgetting what business they are in.
